Wasp Nest
This large late season wasp nest had been established around some ducting from an extraction fan in a domestic property. Â This was treated and carefully removed ready for a contractor to come in and replace the ducting.
Rodent proofing
A retailer was having repeat issues with mice in their warehouse. While other pest conractors were continually treating the issue we located the ingress point and installing metal plating to prevent further access to pests.
Feral pigeons & solar panels
Feral pigeons had become established under these solar panels leading to a build up in guano which began to block gutters. After removing all birds and cleaning the guano we installed black pvc coated mesh for a discreet and effective solution.
How are they getting in?
Rats have gnawed their way in through roofing felt and gained access to the roof space here. The black discoloration on the stonework is known as smearing, this is a greasy substance that comes off rodents as they push passed structure. Locating these ingress points is key to preventing further issues.
Falconry deterrence
Using birds of prey on this site near Aberdeen Airport provided peace of mind to the client that they were meeting their air safety obligations by not letting birds establish on site. Â
Bird spiking
Pigeons were roosting around store frontages leading to slippy deposits of guano on the pavement below. This presented a reputational risk as well as a real risk of customers slipping and falling. Pigeon spiking was installed to prevent roosting and a thorough clean carried out.
