Summer is coming - what pests to look out for?

As the weather begins to warm up an increase in insect activity will be obvious. The warmth and increasing food sources mean ants and wasps in particular become a feature of Summer pest control.
Wasp nests start off as very small structures however if left can lead to substantial nests supporting wasp numbers in the thousands by late Summer. Sheds, lofts and vents are often favourite spots for nests.
Watch out for multiple wasps entering the same hole/gap frequently throughout the day.
